PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – An unidentified man is under treatment for injuries suffered in an early-morning one-alarm fire that started inside a first-floor Mayfair jewelry store, then spread to his residence above.
The fire scene was in the 7000 block of Frankford Avenue near Princeton.
Firefighters rescued the victim and he was immediately rushed to Temple University Hospital for treatment.
Fire officials say the fire was discovered around 2:30 Tuesday morning and was declared under control 25 minutes later.
There’s no word yet on a cause.
