PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Three people were injured after an early morning shooting at a block party in North Philadelphia.
It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Russell Street in the city’s Hunting Park neighborhood.
Police say two men and one woman were wounded when gunfire erupted during a block party. A 26-year-old man was shot in the chest, arm and stomach. He is listed in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.
A 26-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the forearm and a 53-year-old man was shot in the hand. Both victims are hospitalized in stable condition.
Police say it’s unclear what prompted the shooting, but they are continuing to investigate.
