Five Wounded In Three Separate Shootings In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police are investigating three separate shootings overnight.

Just after 9 p.m. Friday, a double shooting at the Lower Mayfair Recreation Center in the 3000 block of Levick Street left two young men in critical condition at Temple University Hospital. Police recovered a gun, but have made no arrests.

A 26-year-old man was shot and wounded just before 2 a.m. Saturday in the 5400 block of Rising Sun Avenue in Olney. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he’s listed in stable condition. No arrests have been made.

And at around 2:45 a.m. Saturday, two teenagers were shot in the legs in Hunting Park. It happened in the 4100 block of Markland Street. Both 17-year-olds are listed in stable condition at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Police have made no arrests.
