PHILADELPHIA(CBS) — Police are investigating an early morning home invasion in Philadelphia’s Juniata neighborhood Monday, where a woman was pistol whipped and two teens were tied up.

The invasion happened just after 7 a.m. at a home on the 4000 block of Lawndale Street.

According to police spokesperson Tanya Little, five men dressed in black, wearing ski masks and all armed, broke in through a basement door. The suspects tied up a 57-year-old woman, who they reportedly pistol whipped. They also tied up a 14-year-old boy and an 18-year-old boy.

The two boys were not hurt. After ransacking the home, the men fled with the 18-year-old, who they released, unharmed, several blocks away.

The woman was taken to Temple University Hospital for treatment.

“There’s a lot of stuff going on around here, we don’t know why but it’s happening,” neighbor Craig Lugo said. “I’ve got two teenagers, and a little baby, we don’t need this crazy stuff around this neighborhood.”

Police have not revealed a motive and have no suspects.
