PHILADELPHIA CBS) — Authorities say a woman is dead after she was attacked by someone that she knew.
It happened around 3:30 pm Saturday in a rooming home at the 3700 block of North 18th Street in North Philadelphia..
The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital and was pronounced at 3:58 pm.
Police say that it was homicide by aggravated assault and that she was attacked by a 54 year-old man.
Authorities have the assailant in custody.
